Lines with $ xxx format show Ubuntu OS commands to be entered.
- Open SSH connection to your Irisity Edge™ server
- Verify server resources:
- OS version $ lsb_release -a Ensure the OS version is Ubuntu 22.04, LTS 64-bit, Server Edition with no GUI
- CPU Model $ lscpu Ensure the CPU model and number of Cores match the required specification. The line starting with CPU(s) shows the number of logical cores available
- Memory $ free -m Ensure the available memory matches the required specification
- Browse to the home folder $ cd ~
- Download the installation script (copy and past from wget including to the end) $ wget https://storage.googleapis.com/prod-releases-irisplus/doc-release/edge_ci_script.sh
- Make the script executable $ chmod +x edge_ci_script.sh
- Run the installation script $ sudo bash ./edge_ci_script.sh
- The available network interfaces are displayed. Identify your active network interface name (mapped to the IP of the Edge™ Device) and enter its name. NOTE: If your Edge™ machine is configured with multiple network interfaces for redundancy / high availability purposes, contact Irisity Customer Support for further instructions (email address enclosed at the bottom of this page)
- In case the installation script exits at any point with an error, contact Irisity Customer Support with the error output
- The Script will ask you which solution are you going to deploy, IRIS+™ CM or IRIS+™ Enterprise, please make sure you select the proper solution (if you have any doubts please contact your salesperson to verify)
13. Wait until the message Done is displayed
14. Check the installation status
$ docker ps -a One docker container will be running: Device Manager
15. Your Irisity Edge is now ready to be added to your IRIS+™ account
