IRIS+™ On-prem 2026 R2
Irisity updates improve your system’s stability, performance, and compatibility and are recommended for all users.
For customers using on-premise or air-gapped deployments, updates are provided as a separate installation package upon request. These packages include accompanying user guidance and can be applied independently; however, we recommend coordinating with Irisity Support to ensure a smooth and validated upgrade process.
Update packages are not publicly hosted and can be obtained through our Support team or your Irisity representative.

What's new?
Arabic and Hebrew language support
IRIS+™ now supports Arabic and Hebrew for customers operating in the Middle East and North Africa. To access, locate the language options in the user settings menu at the top right of the page. This expands the full list of supported regional languages available in the platform.
SMTP email integration without credentials
Email alert integrations now support anonymous and IP-relay SMTP servers — no username or password required. This enables on-premises deployments to connect to internal mail relays that do not require authentication, broadening compatibility with common enterprise network configurations.
"Search for Similar" in VMS plugins
The Search for Similar popup now appears correctly within the Milestone and Genetec VMS embedded plugins, along with an Open in VMS button. Users working directly inside their VMS interface can now initiate similarity searches without switching to a separate browser window.
Excel export as default format
Excel (.xlsx) is now the default format in the shared export picker across the platform. This applies to event exports and account exports, making it easier to work with exported data directly in spreadsheet tools.
Platform administration: email domain restrictions
System Administrators can now configure which email domains are permitted for SysAdmin and Support user accounts, via a new Platform Settings tab in the Console. This helps organisations enforce access policies and prevent accounts from being created with non-approved email domains.

Updated Smoke & Fire detection model
The Smoke & Fire detection model has been retrained and further improved for this release. The updated model is available across supported GPU hardware configurations, providing enhanced accuracy and a broader recognition range for smoke and fire cases across varied environments.
Simplified Edge device manager version selection
The Edge installer now detects available device manager versions directly from the local registry and lets you choose one during installation, with the latest version pre-selected as the recommended option. This removes the previously fixed version and gives field engineers a more flexible, less error-prone edge installation path.
API error responses
External API error responses have been refactored into structured, consistently documented formats. Integrators and developers working with the IRIS+™ External API will find it easier to handle and interpret error conditions programmatically.
What's fixed?
This version includes fixes for the following issues reported in production:
- After a user's last-used account was suspended, they were unable to access the application and were not redirected to an available account. This has been resolved.
- External API event queries submitted without a date range returned empty results instead of defaulting to the full event history. This has been fixed.
- An instability in the agent-proxy service was causing edge device disconnections several times per hour. This has been resolved.
- The Monitor View PDF export could fail when result sets were large. Exports are now capped at a safe limit to prevent this.
- Invoke Integrations (Email and Webhook) were not being triggered in Manual mode, despite showing a success notification. This has been fixed.
- Support users were receiving a Forbidden error when accessing the Platform Settings tab. This has been resolved.
- The Platform Settings tab label was not being translated when the system language was changed. This has been fixed.
- Switching the allowed domains policy back to "No limitation" in Platform Settings was not updating the displayed user list. This has been resolved.
- The policy-violating users list in Platform Settings was not scrollable when the list was long. This has been fixed.
- Events — including associated images and video clips — were not being generated for up to 24 hours following a license import on new on-premises installations. This has been resolved.
- The Calendar feature was not generating events when the current date was set to override an existing schedule. This has been fixed.
- Users who had previously accepted an older version of the EULA were not being prompted to accept the updated version. This has been resolved.
- The View EULA button was appearing in an incorrect location in the user dropdown menu. This has been corrected.
- Users with Indian regional date and time formats were unable to add active time entries in Calendar and Schedule settings. This has been fixed.
