Irisity is always looking for opportunities to provide the best features and improvements for your needs. If you want to use the latest updates to the IRIS+ cloud, we highly recommend you read through our release content. Updates will be automatically applied to your system according to our policies.
This release will be accessible to all customers using the cloud-hosted system on 29-April during our service maintenance window.
We're introducing a new feature within the Genetec plugin: Integrated video playback
This new offering provides video playbacks of events detected in IRIS+ directly through the Genetec plugin. This works by logging into Genetec and accessing the video clips directly from their event player.
Clicking on an event within the plugin will open and expand a playback, showing the event detected from IRIS+.

This version will also include language support for both Vietnamese and Thai languages. Please find the language options in the language settings of the portal:
This latest version provides improvements to common functions in the Genetec embedded plugin. Customers can expect an upgrade across the entirety of the plugin, including:
- Improved video performance - Updates were made to both live and playback video streaming that is used with Genetec's Security Desk.
- Strengthened security improvements - Restrictions are now implemented in the plugin's URI bar to prevent unauthorized access from external URIs.
Updates were made to Insights to make selectable fields more clear for users to understand.
This version includes fixes for the following issues reported in production:
- The plugin's URI bar could not correctly receive inputs from Genetec VMS settings.
- Reduced performance was reported from live and playback video streaming with Genetec's Security Desk.
- Rule schedules could not support continous operations between the last minute of a day
- Face recognition could not support gender filter
- The investigation failed to play the search results
- Error statuses missing from cameras that have warning
- Missing event time in events sent through email integrations
- Duplicate event images found in the monitor module
- Missing crowd statistics rule as a selectable rule option
