Latest updates
New integration available: NetworkOptix - Nx Witness Plugin
Customers using Network Optix's Nx Witness VMS can now integrate with the Alarm Filter. The integration allows for Nx Witness to feed alarms into the Alarm Filter, giving customers a single place to see all incoming alarms.

We've also added a few more improvements to the Alarm Filter this month:
- Add the ability to add new users to a customer account.
Support for single-image alarms from cameras
This update will introduce a new capability in the Alarm Filter: Allow single-image alarms from a camera.
This capability will allow customers to ingest alarms that are single images, expanding the Alarm Filter's ability to cover different types of alarm media. Just like how alarm clips are handled in the system, customers can expect the same process for handling these single-image alarms.
Added usage reporting for billing purposes
This update also includes a new feature: Usage reports.
The usage reports allow customers to generate data based on camera activity time per account. This enables the customer to create billable content, ensuring that invoicing can be done correctly.
The following list of bugs reported in the system has been resolved and no longer exists in production:
- Missing folders in the camera tree when they should show properly.
- Problem with searching for users when adding them to the customer account.
- Showing incorrect alarm image or video when toggling through each alarm in the alarm grid.
- The scheduler's name field does not support long texts.
Beta ends for Alarm Filter
Thanks to our participants in the beta version, the Alarm Filter is no longer in beta and has moved over to an official release!
As part of the official Irisity product offerings, the Alarm Filter platform provides a hassle-free monitoring experience, perfect for customers looking for a simple perimeter security package.

- The timestamps in the platform previously showed date-time in UTC only. For your convenience, we have updated to show the date-time in a time zone that has been set from your account settings.
- Immix integration with the Alarm Filter has also been updated to prevent server communication timeouts. The reduction of these timeouts should improve the alarm-sending functionality between the two systems.
Integration capabilities are now available in the Alarm Filter
Alarm Filter's integration capabilities were prioritized for November to enable support for Network Optix and egress functions to the Operator Portal.
- New integration - Network Optix VMS integration is now available. Customers who set this integration up will be able to send alarms from Network Optix into the Alarm Filter.
- New alarm egress into Operator Portal - Alarms generated from the Alarm Filter can now be sent to Irisity's Operator Portal. Alarms that have been handled in the Alarm Filter can be further classified in the Operator Portal for additional handling purposes.
Additional updates
- Add camera fields have been updated to properly send alarms to the correct integration endpoints.
- New user type added - Operator. This operator role will be able to classify if alarms are true or false in the Alarm Filter tool.
