This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the acceptable and responsible use of the IRIS+ Personalized AI module, which allows customers to create customized, detectable objects tailored to their specific monitored sites. By using this module, customers agree to comply with the following terms:
1.1 Operational customization
- Customers may use the Personalized AI module to design and deploy custom object detection attributes that enhance safety, security, and operational efficiency at their monitored sites.
1.2 Legitimate and ethical use
- The module must be used solely for lawful, ethical, and good-faith purposes, such as enhancing safety or enhancing productivity.
1.3 Compliance with privacy standards
- The module may be used to process data only in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, ensuring that the rights of individuals are respected.
2.1 Unethical or illegal activities The module may not be used for any illegal, unethical, or harmful purposes, including but not limited to:
- Violations of human rights including but not limited to privacy.
- Discriminatory surveillance.
- Harassment, stalking, or unauthorized monitoring.
2.2 Improper attribute design Customers are prohibited from creating attributes that could intentionally or unintentionally cause harm, including:
- Attributes leading to wrongful accusations.
- Use of attributes that invade privacy.
2.3 Automated high-risk systems Customers must avoid using the module in any automated systems where failure could result in significant harm to individuals or property without implementing safeguards and human oversight.
3.1 Risk assessments Any required risk assessments under applicable law must be completed by the customer before implementing custom attributes to evaluate potential operational, ethical, or compliance risks.
3.2 Ongoing monitoring Customers must continuously monitor the accuracy and relevance of their custom attributes and adjust configurations as necessary.
3.3.Compliance with laws Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the module aligns with applicable laws, industry standards, and organizational policies.
3.4 Human-in-the-loop The IRIS+ Personalized AI module is designed to assist humans in monitoring and detection tasks. Customers must ensure that any alarms, events, or outputs generated by the module are reviewed by a qualified individual before taking action. Final decisions regarding the use of data, triggered events, or actions derived from the module’s outputs must always involve human judgment. The module is not intended to function as a standalone or autonomous decision-making system.
Irisity provides this tool for customers to create tailored object attributes but does not guarantee the suitability of customer-defined attributes for specific use cases. Customers are advised to consult their legal and compliance teams before deployment of any new personalized AI.
