Irisity updates improve your system's stability, performance, or compatibility and are recommended for all users. For users connected to our on-prem environments, updates will be automatically applied according to our policies.

This release is **based on the cloud version 2024.4. **

## What's included? 

### Improved hardware processing and memory consumption

As IRIS+ continues to add new and improved models over time, our on-prem deployments must be updated to increase the efficiency of resource consumption. This update reduces the cases of overloaded edge devices, which should prevent missed detections.

### PAI

Personalized AI (PAI) is part of this R3 release. Customers can expect to have the ability to personalize objects they would like to detect as part of real-time rules.

This release offers additional personalization to rules, such as detecting multiple riders on a motorcycle and personal protection equipment (PPE).

If you're looking to detect and track specific entities in scenes, Personalize AI offers a way to curate and configure attributes of everything you need to find in places that matter. 

To get alerts on objects shown (or not shown) in a scene, configure objects by specifying the object's classification and attributes.

### Improvements in advanced motion detection

With this improvement, customers can safely depend on IRIS+ to alert operators when cases of intrusion or trespassing occur in real-time. 

To enable this improvement, access the camera setting and turn on the tracker enhancement toggle.

### Additional fixes & improvements

- Unattended object: There was an issue with detecting white boxes left behind and now resolved.
- Reports - Inconsistencies between the Insights module and the reports has been mitigated, the data shown between the two features should be in sync now.
- Events - In event overlays in the monitor view has been updated to increase accuracy to properly lay the box on top of the subject.
- Event generation - Failures reportred from cameras and devices were found to have been caused by some service disruptions, which has been resolved with this release.
- Real time rule - Crowd density as a data type was reported missing in the report creation feature and has been resolved.
- Real time rule - Slip & fall has been updated to include people as part of the subclass classification. 
- Event logging - Improvements were made to websockets and in the back end to reduce the risk of production outages.
- Corsight integration - Added some refactoring to the corsight integration service to improve logging.
