What's new?

Personalized AI - Self-service custom attributes

Customers will now be able to customize the attributes of objects used in generating real-time events through the feature's self-service attribute editor.

This offering in Irisity's Personalized AI module allows customers to create and configure specific entities with particular attributes. This enables customers to address a wide variety of use cases that are not available with our built-in objects and attributes.

To access, locate the Personalized AI tab under Settings, then select +Add to create a new custom attribute.

Here you can describe the object you wish to detect through object descriptions and image upload. The example below shows how a user can create a custom attribute for cleanroom applications that require strict particle-free garments. This custom attribute will trigger when an employee is found not wearing the appropriate cleanroom garment.

What's improved?

Improved color models in people and vehicle detection

Improvements have been made to the IRIS+ color models on the algorithm side of the product. This improvement includes the additional fine-tuning that is required to identify people's clothing and vehicle colors, to reduce cases of false alarms. Customers should expect better results of events from the monitor tab with more accurate detections.

Updated loitering detection

Changes have been implemented to the existing rule "Moving in an area" to improve tracking people loitering in monitored areas. These changes include updating the distance threshold between objects and the stationary dwell time of objects. Customers should expect more accurate loitering events within the Monitor module.

New smoke and fire improvements

The smoke and fire rule improvement contains two major updates, which include better handling of blocked detections and improved fire presence tracking. This reduces false alarms that may occur and improves fire event tracking consistencies.

What's fixed?

  • Issue found with multiple people on a vehicle and line crossing has been fixed, these behaviors will now trigger and log as events in the Monitor module.
  • The limitation with the Investigation module that only allows for 8 days of data has been fixed and now queries up to 30 days in history.
  • A bug that prevents a user from creating new alarm zones on a site has been resolved and now allows the customer to create new points within the existing alarm zone's polygon.
  • Rules have been updated to prevent users from setting up rules on an incompatible sensor type, specifically with thermal cameras.
