In addition to the latest release of crowd detection, head dots are now added to the camera view of sensors configured with the crowd statistics rule. This addition is perfect for those looking to visually see the foot traffic trends and can be done directly from the camera dashboard in IRIS+.
This algorithm also comes in the form of real-time events, which is called Crowd Density as a rule.
IRIS+ will now offer person recognition capabilities in this release, providing features and functionalities to enable customers in parsing for specific faces. This feature can be setup through a watchlist and will generate alarms when a person with the same facial attributes shows up in a monitored area. The same can be done when monitoring for people that are not recognized in an area. This offering is perfect for customers looking to monitor areas that are authorized and requires real time security assessments.
In addition to our latest offerings, the IRIS+ investigation module now supports searching for similar attributes across all detected instances across time. With only a few steps, customers can quickly target an object in a scene, and scan across all cameras and sites to search for instances that shares similarities with the target object.
Check out this example below, where using the Search for Similar feature scans across all selected cameras across a designated time to find the same person from a scene:
In this release, we are supporting searching for similarities across people detected in scenes. We will extend the feature to support searching for non-human attributes in the future.
Optimized alarm monitoring performance
- For customers with a higher inventory of active cameras, the monitor page has been optimized to handle higher instances of incoming alarms.
- Customers who have encountered any slowness or delays in alarm reporting should experience an improvement to the monitor page including the optimization of searching and generation specific alarms images.
Unattended object detection
- Unattended object detection has been improved to provide better accuracy in detecting unattended objects.
- This improvement is applicable for GPU-based customers running CCD cameras.
Search / Investigation results performance
- The inconsistency in thumbnails size when a user attempts to select a specific size has been resolved, all customers using the search / investigation module will now be able to select between three different sizes:
- Small - 100%
- Medium - 150%
- Large - 200%
General page performance
- Issue found with the page caching in chrome has been resolved, users should no longer see a black screen upon logging in.
Calibration speed
- Improvements were made to the calibration model to ensure that both auto and manual calibration can process without taking too much time.
Improved reporting of statistic rules
- All results generated from statistic rules will be generated by 60 second intervals to support improvements to both the new Insights dashboard and exports of statistical reports.
Integration support for legacy occupancy and crowd algos
- All legacy rules related to the former occupancy and crowd algos are now available for the following integrations
- Milestone
- Genetec
- Immix
