This release will be accessible to all customers using the cloud-hosted system on **8-Sept** during our service maintenance window.

## What's new?

### Investigation report export — PDF

Investigation results can now be exported as a formatted PDF report. From the Investigation module, select one or more results and export a branded report that includes the camera, timestamp, and object of interest, along with the cropped and full-frame images for each result. A single report can include up to 300 results. This gives teams a ready-to-share record of an investigation without having to assemble it manually.

### Investigation report export — Excel

Investigation results can also be exported to Excel for further analysis. The export can be generated as a standalone spreadsheet, or as a ZIP archive that bundles the spreadsheet together with the cropped and full-frame images for each result — useful for sharing evidence or building reports outside of AI Guarding.

### Context-aware external model alarm filtering

Alarm filtering can now make use of context-aware external models, giving more flexibility in how events are verified and filtered before they reach an operator.

## What's improved?

**Improved diffuse smoke detection**

The smoke and fire model has been updated to better detect slow, diffuse smoke that spreads gradually across a scene rather than rising in a clear plume. This builds on the lower minimum dwell time introduced in 2026.3.

## What's fixed?

This version includes fixes for the following issues:

- Users were incorrectly redirected to the suspended-user page after login, and the application could become inaccessible after switching to a suspended account
- Some integrations could not be invoked from the Monitor view for certain folders or cameras
- The Search / Similarity tab could become partially hidden and could not be closed
- Report creation failed for statistical exports
- Assets Protection: rule creation, editing, and deletion returned 500 errors, and live view was unavailable after adding a new camera
- The "Created by" field on cases was empty
- The portal could crash after a camera live-view failure
- The Cases list was not scrollable when it grew larger than the visible area
- Investigation exports: the Export Excel and Export ZIP buttons sometimes did not download, and the Export PDF dropdown options either did nothing or required moving the cursor away before the option highlighted
- Alarm-filter verification could silently discard real events when the crop was keyed to frame time
- Some interface strings still appeared in English in certain languages
- Console showed a UI state mismatch after failing to change a user's status (it corrected itself after a page refresh)
- Anomaly Detection displayed a "Next training" date in the past
- The Test Health alert dropdown generated a warning instead of an error for newly added error states
- Cases: there was no way to continue after choosing "Select an existing case", and the Private / Public toggle did not work during case creation

# Patches & Hotfixes

## 2026.4.1

*21 September 2026*

**Increased sensitivity for smoke detection**

Improved sensitivity has been introduced to smoke & fire detection. This increased sensitivity should capture early smoke generation in an indoor environment. With this increased sensitivity, you **may** experience some increase in false alarms. Other rule types are unaffected. If you see an increase in false alarms on a smoke or fire rule, contact Irisity Support to tune the rule for your site.
