The solution runs Irisity’s AI algorithms for perimeter security embedded in the Axis camera without requiring extra hardware. Irisity Edge for Axis combines Irisity’s industry-leading video analytics, based on deep learning AI models and machine learning, as well as Axis Camera Applications Platform (ACAP) video devices into a single solution.

The IRIS+ Edge for the AXIS app runs inside the AXIS ARTPEC-7/ARTPEC-8 camera and connects to the IRIS+ Cloud or on-premise Core instance. No extra processing hardware is needed on-site. Both optical and thermal sensor types are supported.

Beyond the state-of-the-art accuracy of the analytics, you also get the rich capabilities of IRIS+ such as advanced camera administration & health monitoring, alarm handling and video verification, and deep integration options with VMSes such as Milestone and Genetec.
