## Edge Release

*Available on 13-October 2026*

### Missed detections in Moving in an Area rules

Moving in an Area rules could miss detections on edges running the February 2025 edge release. Moving objects in the area are no longer rejected as “stopped” when the rule is not a stopped-behavior rule. Checks for stopped behaviors are unchanged.

**Known limitations:** This update applies only to edges running the February 2025 edge release. Edges on the perimeter security update already include this fix and are not changed.

*Available on 06-October 2026*

## What's improved?

### Updated EULA

A new EULA has been updated in the portal. For all new and existing users, you will need to re-accept the new terms upon signing in. This update also includes version tracking, which allows you to track and see which EULA version IRIS+ works with. Additional improvements include:

- **Opt-out from data sharing:** If you wish to change your data sharing selection with IRIS+, contact support to get assistance.

### Updated integrations page

The integrations page was given a refresh, providing improvements to better guide you on how to set up and configure integrations with IRIS+.

- The account type in the Console always showing "Demo"
- The Folder ID in event details not matching the Folder ID in the integration email
- The "Reset Filter" button disappearing on the Health alerts tab
- The Perimeter rule pop-up staying open after an automatic log-off
- A deactivated camera being saved as active
- The InnoVi V1 API docs page returning a 404
- Fixed an issue where a vehicle staying in a monitored zone could be missed, or the alert delayed
- Improved the reliability of event processing when the system is under load

## What's improved?

### Edge: More cameras supported per device on Perimeter Security (preview)

*Available on 03-July 2025*

This version of the edge device will include an update to the Perimeter Security (preview) feature. This update will enable customers to add up to **7 cameras** to an edge device running Perimeter Security analytics, compared to 4 cameras in the previous version.

As this feature is still in preview, please review the guide [here](https://docs.irisity.com/iris-plus-cm-documentation).

## What's improved?

### Edge: Cooldown time between alarms in Perimeter Security (preview)

The Perimeter Security preview pop-up will include updates to the cooldown time. This cooldown time by default will be set to 5 seconds, with an option to set it at a maximum of 30 seconds as well.

The cooldown time within Perimeter Security behaves slightly differently than the standard rule dwell time. While both handle the time duration between events, the cooldown time within Perimeter Security is built to reduce alarm event alerts without dropping the alarms themselves.

To learn more about how cooldowns work with perimeter security, read more at [https://docs.irisity.com/iris-plus-cm-documentation](https://docs.irisity.com/iris-plus-cm-documentation).

## What's new?

### Edge: Introducing Perimeter Security module

We're pleased to announce that the latest Edge release will introduce the newest addition to the intrusion detection features: Perimeter Security module.

![](https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/JzHznijrWxPLJLDUaV5A1/n8q9GDMPB5vItcUQDRfPX_image.png)

This Perimeter Security module is an advanced class of intrusion detection rules, dedicated to operations that require a higher degree of motion detection on sites.

![](https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/JzHznijrWxPLJLDUaV5A1/exxDwFsWw_jP29YeVm4Nh_image.png)

This release will be the first version to introduce this module in its Preview format. This preview format will give customers an introduction to this new feature as more of its functionalities are in development.

To learn how to use Perimeter Security, review the [user guide here](https://docs.irisity.com/iris-plus-cm-documentation).

### Updated health alerts page

Irisity feels that you should be educated and empowered to take action when issues arise. This new health alerts page allows customers to self-diagnose and self-resolve problems reported from their devices, reducing any wait time in between for a fix.

Health alerts and warnings from devices and cameras will now be sorted in a newly designed **Health Alerts** **page**. Each alert is organized with relevant information on relevant steps to resolve issues before additional assistance is required.

![](https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/JzHznijrWxPLJLDUaV5A1/gQvVGbGetJJuSqUm3aCOJ_image.png)

Each health alert is equipped with

- Impact on your IRIS+ operation when this health alert is active
- A recommendation on the actions to take
- Link to IRIS+ CM's [Troubleshooting Guide](https://docs.irisity.com/iris-plus-cm-documentation/troubleshooting-guide)
- Link to IRIS+ CM's Health Alert Glossary

## What's improved?

Improvements to the general UX and usability of the system are now available in the portal. This release focused on improving navigation across modules when a user is context-switching across the portal.

![](https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/JzHznijrWxPLJLDUaV5A1/hD4ZtAUr4pdpBEdUxvuGz_image.png)

For example, when moving between the Admin module and the tree view, you can expect that each transition will include additional breadcrumbs you can follow. This allows you to go between modules without needing to remember where you were last.

In addition to the general UX improvements, the portal's responsiveness was also upgraded as part of this release's improvement priorities. This includes improvements to module sizing, which accommodates users operating the portal with smaller screens.

## What's fixed?

Fixes were applied to issues found in the core for IR+ CM and innoVi accounts:

- No display for inactive and suspended sensors
- Wrong data from different cameras occasionally presents itself when switching cameras
- Flickering of the video stream/camera switching lags before the stream stabilizes
