## Patches & Updates

### 2026 R2.1. Core Hot-Fix

*Available 13-October 2026*

Fixes *./install.sh --plan* kernel failing with a *libpython3.12 *dependency error on Ubuntu hosts. Removes the optional *perf *diagnostic tools from the kernel package list, with no impact on the kernel, drivers or IRIS+ functionality. Verified on Ubuntu 24.04 only. A permanent fix will follow in the next installer build.
